Thought Leadership is Mandatory

Businesspeople should have their own thought leadership book.

Thought leadership is essentially “the position of an individual or an organization as an expert in a specific field.”

Here’s why businesspeople need to write and publish a thought leadership book:

  • It creates a perception of authority
  • It helps you book speaking engagements on your expertise
  • It’s an asset that will continue to grow your brand and influence

Once you’ve written your thought leadership book (or hired an elite ghostwriter to do it),

  • Publicize it on social media
  • Use it as a talking point in conversations
  • Create spin-off assets from it (podcasts, newsletter, audiobook, etc.)

You might think an “expert” is someone who knows everything about a specific topic.

Not true.

An expert is someone who knows a little more than others.

A 3-year old is an expert at tying their shoes compared to a 1-year old.

No matter who you are, you have expertise.

Besides the two memoirs I ghostwrote for others, I’ve written and published six thought leadership books.

It works wonders.

Trust me.
