Faith Can Make Impossibility a Reality
It must be sincere for it to work
Sometimes a goal can feel impossible to achieve. The more you think about it, the more you become discouraged.
It usually happens with something that seems too big to happen, but faith can make impossibility a reality.
Years ago, I desperately wanted to get hired by a sales organization that was ranked as the top workplace in the state.
I aced the interview and the background check and all that was left was to pass the licensing exam. It seemed simple enough; I just had to score a minimum of 70 to make my goal a reality.
I struggled mightily to end up with a 51. I was embarrassed and devastated, and I had little belief that I could recover in just a few days when my second attempt was scheduled.
After feeling sorry for myself, I decided that I had come too far to fold on my mission. I owed it to myself to dig deeper than ever before, so I rigorously studied the material and used unshakable faith to get me through my natural doubts.
Faith is a belief not based on proof, but a higher power. That could be God or it could be in your own dedication and commitment. For me, I believed that God would not allow my extra effort to result in anything other than my desired outcome.
The second time, I passed with a 71 on the exam and I was relieved and grateful. My success was built on prayer, but most importantly — faith.
I learned a very important lesson. Whatever you care about in a huge way, remember that impossibility can become a reality as long as you possess extraordinary faith.
